Peggy Sherry is a versatile artist from Somerset, KY, who paints in oil, watercolor and pastel. Her subject matter includes portraits, landscapes and equine. Favorite scenes have been found hiking at Cumberland Falls, along KY's Sheltowee Trace and the Alum Cave Trail in the Smokies. Her paintings reflect her love of water and the natural world, and she can often be found painting with the Plein Air Artists of Central KY.
Ms. Sherry has exhibited her work in many venues around the state and is often represented at the KY Artisan Center in Berea and the Art of Danville Gallery. She is a Signature Status member of the KY Watercolor Society. She holds a BA in Fine Art from McDaniel College in MD and teaching certification from Augusta College, GA.
